Price Total Averages not making sense?

If you look below some of them make sense to us but others don't. The area tools seem to be calculating a per square foot price (which is what we want) but the linear tools (when inputing wall area) don't average out to a per sq foot price. Make it make sense and can this be altered, edited to work the same across the board (per sf average)?
