Products breaking inheritance

Hey Team,

I've set up product lists for my items, and they inherit a number of custom property variables from the parent.

However whenever i switch product in the item, it break the inheritance... is this a feature or a bug?

(Now i think about it, maybe my list has defaults for those custom properties) << Could that be the problem?

Change product and no longer inherited - (values change = Bad!)

Hi Thomas, yes having inherited properties in products will cancel the inheritance with the new product information.

If it is possible, I would move the properties out of products and Items and only into Items.

This way when you select the product it won't wipe out the formula.

I understand if you need the products to carry the information, but currently in zzTakeoff it will override int field. The dev team is aware of this, and I believe they have it on their list,
