Project Auto Numbering

Is there an auto numbering feature for projects like in planswift? We have a huge amount of estimates (100-150 a month on average) and let planswift automatically assign the numbers to them. Without them we would have to create a numbering system outside of the program which would be just an added step which we would of course like to avoid.
