Q & AProject Notepad
This is just a quick feature request, it might be nice to have a "Project Notepad" quick button. I always open a simple excel template and write down any items that I want to make note of, without having to go back into every individual page. This might be a list of items like exclusions, random notes, or unique inclusions I want to specifiy in a bid. This is also my checklist at the end of a takeoff for any scope items I want to look into further.
I thought maybe a button in the toolbar would make it easily accessible from any sheet.
Hi, I love the idea. One workaround would be to add a bookmark in the bottom left that gives you one click access from any page to your notes. You can create a blank page, then create a note on the page the size of the whole page, and bookmark the view you like of that notes page. Now you can access it with one click from any page!
Stephen, yes that's good too! I haven't played around with bookmarks too much yet but yes it would be the same idea, just something easily accessible from 1-click on any page.
