Super slow with big take off project.
I am busy with a custom home.
The closer I get to completing the take off. It becomes slower. Every addition it seems to run a update or saves it.
Making any changes cause a huge lag. Almost as if it is stuttering.
Anyone else experiencing this?
do you have the bottom report pane open?
close that and life is good. They have a bug with that open.
also if itβs not that on the bottom right turn off things like pdf snap and other buttons in that area.

Glad it's working better now. The team is aware of the slowdown with the bottom report pane and is constantly working to speed things up.

I was navigating a takeoff with huge lag with that bottom report window open during takeoff.
Close it, takeoff back to lightning quick again.
Sadly the reports windows still painfully slow.
Thoughts to get this reports window unstuck / un-laggy?
oddly enough it seems way faster in Chrome (maybe what I would consider normal). What would cause Edge to run so poorly?
We're constantly trying to make the reports faster and faster with optimizations. The biggest reason for the lag is that the reports are real-time, and when you update a takeoff section, it needs to re-aggregate data for the changed columns (area, linear, point count, etc). Not sure why Edge would be running poorly. It could be due to optimizations Chrome has made. As a side note, Chrome is our recommended browser.
