Why can't we put a filter on the first column in a report?

Hey Edisna! What are you trying to filter by in the "Group" column? For the most part, our reports filter the root-level row data (not grouped rows).

if i have 4 folders and i just want to only view one of them.

I know you can type in the search box in the reports the name of the folder to do this, but if the keyword you type is also found in another folder, in an item for example, it will also pull that in your report.

Takeoff Tree and Advanced Item Reports. Neither can i put a filter to only choose a folder or a takeoff like you would on the rest of the columns.
