Ability to Install Desktop Icon / Shortcut

Quite a few users have asked us for a way to put an icon on their desktop for zzTakeoff. We have a basic installer now for Windows and Mac. To be clear, this is not a desktop version of the software, it's just an icon that opens up our web based zzTakeoff software which we added based on user requests.

I laugh at this and think how hard it is to train people on internet browser bookmarks.

I did give it a whirl, but since its 2025, our IT department wont let us install anything on our desktop and need a password, so it does not work. My bookmark does tho!

Cool an official icon. I had saved the zz URL as my web browser icon. I paste the "shortcut" into our project folders, on SharePoint, for PMs and crew leads with view only access to view projects from their phones while on site.
