Maximizing Work Area

Not sure if this post belongs in this thread but I wanted to put it up in case anyone has similar preferences to me.

I personally like to maximize the viewable area of plans and I have a couple tricks that help to do that really well.

1) In your browser, zoom out to about 80%. This shrinks the side bars where your takeoffs are tallied as well as the tool ribbon up top. I use Google Chrome and the zoom function is located in the "three dots" menu in the top right. This works especially well if your monitor is 1440p resolution or better.

2) Use F11 to go in and out of full screen mode. This hides the URL bar, bookmark ribbon, task bar, and anything else browser related that isn't the web page itself.

Both of these tricks combined make for a very clean work space that allows you to maximize the viewable area of the plans while keeping only the essentials viewable but contained.

Bonus points if you keep your ZZTakeoff tab pinned to your browser so you don't have to redo the zoom setting every time you go to do a takeoff.
