Tutorial 7 - Importing PlanSwift Templates

At zzTakeoff our development team is constantly working to improve our import templates from OST and PlanSwift feature. Please know that we have no affiliation with either of those companies. Currently there are also limitations on how much of your PlanSwift or OST templates can be transferred over into zzTakeoff and this is due to some of the complexities that have been built into those software templates. So we ask for your patience in this matter, but for now let's import a PlanSwift template. To do this, navigate to your takeoff page and in the templates tab on the right side of your screen you will notice a plus icon. If you select the plus icon, you will see the option of import PlanSwift templates. When you select this option a window will open up and ask you to choose a file. You can select the exported template tab from Planswift that should already be saved to your computer and this needs to be in a swift templates format, not a PlanSwift job format. When selected you should see another window open up asking you to choose which PlanSwift Templates you would like to import. Make your selection and hit import and when you are finished you should see a new template library with your takeoff properties listed.
