Dragging takeoff from takeoff selector side pane to cutout area doesn't copy takeoff to cutout.

Completed

Instead it copies the takeoff the outside takeoff.

Also, noticing with this drawing that zzTakeoff doesn't like cutouts within cutouts within cutouts.

Just wondering, what would you want it to copy to the cutout? the cutout is an empty space which is why it's not coping anything. if you were to put an area inside that cutout, it would copy to that.

okay, technically it does have issues seeing areas inside of cutouts as well.

You can 'Duplicate As...' a cutout. I guess I would like it if I could drag and drop a takeoff to a cutout and have it fill that cutout.

That would be a nice feature. The ability to add an area to a cutout. Say you have a parking lot and you cutout the curb and OSA, you could add a sod tool, and it would fill in that cutout.

Interesting, it is a possibility but, the area surrounding the cutout still takes over that space. It would actually need to treat the cutout as an actual hole.

Thanks for the recordings @Victor and @Shawn! I'll mention this to the team and see if we can make it so the cutout can be dropped on (while still in an area).

The team released a patch for this. Does it work correctly now?

Seems to be working how I would expect it to. Thanks!
