Switching Between Workspaces

Overview

Workspaces in zzTakeoff allow you to organize projects, teams, and permissions into separate environments. If you belong to multiple workspaces, you can easily switch between them at any time.

Switching workspaces helps you move between different companies, departments, or project groups without logging out of your account.

When You Might Switch Workspaces

You may need to switch workspaces if you:

• Work with multiple companies or teams
• Manage projects for different clients
• Separate internal and external projects
• Have different permission levels in different environments
• Need to access specific projects or shared resources

How to Switch Workspaces

Step 1: Open the Workspace Menu

1. Log into zzTakeoff
2. Look at the top-left corner of the screen
3. Click on your current workspace name

Step 2: Select a Different Workspace

1. A dropdown list of available workspaces will appear
2. Click on the workspace you want to switch to
3. zzTakeoff will automatically load that workspace

Step 3: Confirm the Workspace Change

Once switched, you will see:

• The new workspace name at the top
• Different projects
• Different team members
• Workspace-specific settings and permissions

Important Notes

• You can only switch to workspaces you have been invited to
• Projects belong to a specific workspace and will not appear in others
• Permissions may change between workspaces
• Your role (Admin, Member, Viewer, etc.) may be different in each workspace

Troubleshooting

I Don’t See Another Workspace

• Make sure you have been invited
• Check your email for a workspace invitation
• Ask a workspace admin to add you

I Can’t Access Projects After Switching

• Verify you are in the correct workspace
• Confirm your permission level
• Contact your workspace administrator
