Best Practices

Use Clear Naming

Label items clearly for easy reporting.

Example:

  • Ceiling Lights
  • Exit Signs
  • Floor Drains
  • Wall Outlets

Use Different Colors

Assign different colors to different count types to avoid confusion.

Zoom In for Accuracy

Zoom in to ensure markers are placed correctly on each item.

Count One Category at a Time

Finish counting one item type before starting another to maintain clean results.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

Double Clicking the Same Item

This creates duplicate counts.

Counting Different Items in One Category

Separate items into different count tools.

Not Verifying the Plan

Always review markers after counting.

Placing Markers Too Quickly

Take time to ensure each click is accurate.
