Break Apart Area Takeoffs

I know we have a break apart for linear takeoffs, what about for area takeoffs? I'm thinking you draw a line though the area where you want the break apart to occur.

In addition to that, it would be nice if you could draw a line through all items in a plan. Say they phase the project out after you already took the project off whole.
