Default Collapse Templates and Takeoffs

I find myself closing templates every time I enter that tab, could we get it to be closed when we select.. it would save a lot of time for zz users.

This way we can choose which folder we want to open

Much to my embarrassment it is already built into ZZ.

On the right side of the each tab(Templates, Takeoff and Items) there are the 3 dots stacked.... and guess what? the development team already thought of this... set collapse as our default.

I want to post some tips and tools on our community soon, as I have found some other hidden gems.

Yeah lets connect for sure, you have made some waves as well in the industry:)

I still disagree that its not working yet to the best it could yet, I would like the folders to also be collapsed by default:

To get a gold star beyond just the yellow folders, I want our people to get use to the gray folder structure for the custom properties and default to that setup on the right to get our people use to our company standard trade codes and unformat.

Hey Kyle, in our next release, you will be able to collapse all folders by default by setting the default expand level to "None".

For your second ask, do you want to customize what the "Default View" groups by for your company (currently clears all grouping), or do you want all users to default to a specific team view?
