I’d like to suggest a user interface enhancement that would greatly improve workflow efficiency when navigating between frequently used sheets (e.g., floor plans and schedule pages).
Request:
Add a set of "Jump Back" and "Jump Forward" buttons that allow users to quickly toggle between the last few pages they’ve viewed, similar to a web browser's back/forward functionality.
Use Case:
This feature would be especially helpful during estimating and coordination workflows where users frequently switch between a floor plan and its corresponding schedule sheet or detail view. Being able to jump directly back and forth without manually searching through the sheet list would save time and reduce repetitive clicks.
Thank you for considering this quality-of-life improvement.
I like this idea, and would like to expand on it:
Similar to how if you right click over the back button, you can see a short history of pages.
Also,
Bookmarks or able to create custom view that only shows what plans in the bookmarks list, without having the change it for everyone.
IE: I am in Demolition, so I would pick out all the demo plans, create a list or mark what plans pretrain to demolition. Then I can just select the view that only shows those plans. of course name the bookmark view "Demolition". And say a co-worker comes in and he does concrete, he can do the same thing (naming the view as "Concrete"), without having to disrupt my view or change how the normal plan list look.
Added Feature to this, would be private view or company view.
I believe this would shorten the list of plan pages related to the desired scope, without having to change other's lists.
Yeah in PlanSwift you were able to set bookmarks for stuff like this.
Also, not sure if you guys are using Chrome, but on that browser if you click & hold down on the browser's back button, you can see a list of the last 10 or so pages you went to and can jump back to any of them
EDIT: Didn't know you could also right click the back button to do the same thing, thanks for that one Casey
Good feedback guys. Thank you.
