Imperial and Metric in same project

In Progress

I have a project with both imperial and metric sheets but the scale option won't let me do both options. How do I do this?

(We often get projects that have this situation)

Hi Rob. We are getting close to solving this. I know some other users have asked for this in the past and will likely chime in here as well.

Just to clarify, when you scale 1 page in Metric, and another page in Imperial, would you be using a mix of metric & imperial templates on those pages?

For example: are you wanting to scale a page in Metric (meters), and be able to calculate areas in both SF and m² on the same page?

I can add here that this is a pretty critical piece of our current workflow - The scales can often be metric or imperial but more often than not our drawings are mainly imperial.

However where I am in Canada our civil works and concrete (supply only) are going to be measured in metric even off imperial drawings so not needing a conversion step is pretty helpful.

So for a concrete footing for example: Takeoff in imperial for formwork, volume reported as cubic meters.

We have some updates on our Test Server to allow Imperial and Metric on the same project.

If you want you can play with it and let us know if it solves what you are after.
