Doug Jones Legend Properties - Hide Column Headers (default setting option)
We do not use column headers in Legend Properties. If an option was available to hide/display column headers as a default setting, then it would save the clicks of turning it off on every sheet.

I second this. About 95% of the time I have to hide the legend headers, so if there is an option to set the legend headers to hide by default, it would make finishing up a take off faster.
We have an option to set the defaults for each type of tool, but I checked and there is a small bug with it on the Legend. We'll get this fixed, then you would be able to "Save as Default Legend":

It could help if the settings icon was visible always without hovering over the title bar too.

Thanks for the input. We made that gear only visible when hovering over the title bar just to avoid cluttering the UI. We try hard to make it feel simple out of the box with lots of options under the hood. We'll discuss internally.
The feature for "Save as Default Legend" has been fixed in local development and will go out with the next minor release.
