Product Folder Default

This request is to make the default or a toggle option so that if a product is selected and a user goes into change that product, the list that opens up will be from the same folder the product is in, rather than showing all of the folders:

Along those lines, is there a way to make a list the "default list" per user? I am part of a workspace that has multiple location and some locations stock different items that are similar so we have different skus. We can use the skus in our takeoffs to export to excel, then import to our point of sale program, saving so much time. Every time I select a product, I have to choose the list for the location I'm at. Not a huge deal, but would save me the extra clicks until I have all my templates/assemblies set up with the skus.

From the list tab in the dropdown, maybe an option could be added for a user to select the 3 dots by a list and "set as default". If this already exists somewhere in the settings, I would love to know where it is.
