Quality of life change for the linear tool

so the new option for linear to display feet or inches is great and very useful to me.

Taking it a step further for some quality of life would be great though. A global setting that will make linear dimensions display whichever unit type you prefer by default every time, or the ability to select multiple linear take offs at once, like shift clicking a whole bunch of them, and being able to edit properties once and have it apply to everything selected.

The logic behind this is that it eliminates the need to change the unit of measurement for the linear tool every single time you go to use it if you want to use anything other than feet, which is the current default.

Thanks for the feedback John. In the meantime, a template will help, but we'll be sure to add some global settings. Maybe even a way to choose so that when you click "Area" it auto loads from a default template of your choice.

.....I didn't even think of making a template of the tool with the settings I prefer. That will absolutely work just fine. Thanks for the idea.
