Is there a way to show the takeoff quantities on each sheet when I go to print/save to PDF to show each pages takeoff quantities?
Thank you for your suggestion about showing takeoff quantities on sheets.

In the meantime, if you're looking to review quantities per sheet, you can currently Obtain this information from the Takeoff Totals in the Right Pane of the Takeoff Screen or the reports Tab by Grouping by Page.

This feature is available in Bluebeam where you can insert a legend with counts on each respective PDF.
Good afternoon,
This is what I had in mind. Please let me know if this is possible and ok with others. Also, placing a pattern would be very helpful.
It would be nice to be able to customize the legend as well. PlanSwift was a little rigid in this regard. It only allowed “Name” and “Takeoff“ properties to show.
John, I'm assuming you mean mostly customizing the columns on the legend or were there other aspects you had in mind?
Rick, looking good. We'll make sure to add a legend soon. Thanks for all your support!
Yeah, something like that. For example, I switched to using “Description” quite heavily in PS for reporting. The name of the item was only there as a short name, but the description was constructed from important properties so as to differentiate it from other items. So the name of an item might be “wall” but the description would be “2x4 exterior wall 8.7’ osb 4x9” or something.
Thank you, Heber! You are making great progress.
We often "show legend" and would love to be able to switch properties. Also - is there a way to right click an item and then "add a tag" so that we can pull a line leader out and mark it - then print the pdf? A bit of a CAD workflow i know, but would be great to be able to have that as Legends get a bit big and hard to read since it's just a list with colors and shapes to track back to.
We have plans to address the Legend functionality in an upcoming release.
Regarding your request for Tags, I've created a mock-up to help confirm we understand your requirements.
This design shows how you could add tags with notes to specific items and includes a leader line for clear visual reference. Please take a look and let me know if this matches what you had in mind:"
