Unit of Measure - Tons

Would it be possible to add Tons as a unit of measure for Areas with Depth? In my case, it would need to be based off Cubic Yards, and allow us to input a custom multiplication factor to convert CY to Tons?

to Add on to this: I would like to be able to put custom formulas in the Legend.

That would work too. A custom Formula option within the takeoff item (similar to the custom formula options for items ex. materials)

Eric, if you need a placeholder, here is my formula for tons. Wearing Depth is a custom variable.

[Wearing Depth (in)] / 12*[Area:SF]*150/2000

My formula looks more like this:

(((([Wearing Depth (in)] / 12) * [Area:SF]) / 27) * [Density])

Both Wearing Depth and Density would need to be custom variable.

This is currently achievable if you do it as an item(Material) but doesn't look like there's a way to add custom formulas for takeoffs.
