Drawing with known Dimension

Is there a way enter a length while using the area or linear takeoff tool and give it a specific direction in the X/Y axis plane with degrees? (similar to AutoCAD, 0,90,180,270)

Ben, yes you can use your number keypad to indicate direction and then insert the length.

Hi Bryan, pardon me if i am missing something. But it asks only for the length not the direction. How do you specify the angle or the direction?

Buddhika,

Start you linear takeoff, then indicate the direction using your number pad (8 for 90 degrees), then insert your desired length. You must indicate direction first!! (You will not get a window asking for direction)

Currently we can only do vertical, horizontal and 45.
