Justin, those are my excavated sizes, I have added the overdig sizing into my zz takeoff. ie: for this Pier, I added 18" overdig on each side.

I was able to do something similar for footing excavation.

Mark, Here is the method that I use for this. Basically create a folder for each plan set drawing date, then create a new "Layer" for that set. It makes overlays and sorting in reports very clean....

Hi Heber, would definitely be open to any key that fits into your future plans. AGTEK Gradework uses the "O" key to turn their overlays on and off.
