Layer lock and move item to a different layer.

In custom truss design I do a lot of collaboration with homeowners and have been loving the collaboration powerhouse with being able to send a link and let them see my cursor move around. I will end up using several layers of notes because some are for internal use only and some are for the collaboration for changes and such other shenanigans. Is there ways unaware to me to move a note to a new layer and keep viewer level users out of certain layers?
