Notes on Items and Assemblies

Is there a way, or can we get a simple notes feature on Items and Assemblies?

I would like to make comments on how the item calculation works or how the users is intended to use the takeoff assembly or item.

You could create a custom Property and associate it to all items. then whatever you create will have the property.

It would be cool to have the ability to included screen shots or images that show the user what the inputs are supposed to represent.

that would be a good idea, maybe have a circled "?" and when you hover over, the screenshot would appear.
