VERY interested in this for all millwork on a project. Flooring, wall cladding, beam wraps, trim, cabinets, stairs treads, etc.

Built a tool to Vectorize the pdf plan and incorporated the Grading Toolbox tools so I don't need to trace out the line manually, just choose the line from the list and assign the elevation (cool thing about this plan set is it included the CAD layers so that made it even better)

@Bryan, by vectorizing the lines, were you also able to convert utility lines, curb, sidewalk, etc to takeoff templates?

@Bryan pretty new to zztakeoff, where do i find the grading toolbox and any interest in sharing your vectorizing tool or how you built it?

@Ben - Plugin store for the Grading Toolbox. Click your initials in the top right and select the plugin store.

Currently every plugin in the store allows for the user to make changes to the scripts and modify the plugin through the MCP. You guys are going to love this feature!

Residential builder here.

First attempts at Claude integration are looking very promising. I'll be focusing on automated take offs for simpler assemblies, and then improving the reporting functions to provide me with all the information I will need to build a complete contract price in ZZTakeoff.

After my first two rounds of usage limit on a pro version, I am now able to recreate foundation and framing (T&M) takeoffs for foundation (excluding excavation) and framing reliably on test plan set. I plan on refining tools and once I can recreate my estimates, I will be attempting takeoffs on non-training sets where I have already taken off the project manually with Excel and other "archaic" methods.

Sure hope the team leaves the Pro tier clients access to the MCP long enough for us to really dig into the possibilities - I am truly blown away!

It is so cool to see and hear what people are doing with this MCP access and the crazy part is it is just going to get better and better. The Dev team has no intention of slowing down and resting on their laurels.

Could you explain more about your SKILL sets? Just an example or two of something you have Claude doing via the MCP that is improving integration, work flow or accuracy?

it is pretty much three months of Claude exploration prior to the MCP and a bunch of knowledge after that Claude has added to my skill set.
