Collecting input: Opacity for Takeoff Objects

Big fan of opacity, even better fan of entering # directly. Couldn't see a reason for zero unless I just want an outline and I don't recall zzQTO having outlines on areas??? Not sure why I'd want an outline...

Can't wait to have transparency though - especially for layering multiple elements

Heber, could you give a screenshot of 5%, I bid a lot of underground detentions systems and use up to 6-7 area layers to do so, currently I am just making them visible/invisible, but then I loose the snapping points when making them invisible. So a very low opacity will help out.

Verry much agree with you Heber, while hiding elements entirely could pose a risk, at least the "Show All" function makes hidden items visible, mitigating that issue.

To ensure a minimum level of visibility and prevent items from being unintentionally overlooked, it may be prudent to implement a slightly higher minimum opacity, as you suggested 10% or 20%. This will strike the right balance between visibility and flexibility. It is very important for the end user to exercise prudence too.

Thanks for the input guys. I'm even open to allowing full transparency (at 0% opacity). Just trying to help avoid someone missing counting things.

I like the ability to going down to 5% but agree with no lower than that.

A "master opacity slider" for all areas on the current page would be nifty too (if feasible)

Thanks, Heber! I hope that I never use '0%' on any of my takeoffs. If you created a master slider for the entire page, please include an option to turn it off. I am not opposed to the concept, however, as it may prove advantageous in certain circumstances.
