Rick- Colorado Civil Takeoffs Offset tool
I would like to explore the possibility of incorporating an offset tool or establishing a method for creating an offset within area measurements.
Hi Rick, I like this idea, can you tell me what application would you use this in... for Landscape and Irrigation contractors We could use this for our on center measurements that we don't want to have plants or drip irrigation measured. This would provide a more accurate measurement for bids and ordering materials.
I have done this with some simple formulas, but an offset tool would be pretty handy.

Hi Todd,
I would use it for fabric, geogrid, and gravel offset. Also i would use it in building excavation over dig. Each application will have a different offset measurement. It would be handy to use zz and not have to do it manually.
Nice, I think even offsetting the gravel bed for a paved area to increase the area perimeter by a foot or 18", it would be very useful
