Ah I see, found it. This doesn't work if you use templates though. You have to create the take off and assign the item as new every time to pull current pricing. Is that correct?

This worked. Great easy fix. Thank you. The only remaining issue is that my items report (Material List) shows both but one with zero. Its ok, but not ideal to have unused items.
