What I have found in the reports tab is right click the takeoff and click on properties then you can make adjustments without going back into the takeoff tab.

my child items inherit what I select from the takeoff so I select my pipe size and pipe material from custom properties then the child item inherits the size and pipe material in the name

That would be Awesome. I have made a Workaround with inherits and would love to brainstorm with you to get out of the ruts i find myself in.Reading these help free up my creative assembly making

What i did above works in the takeoff level to type any folder you want to make but i could definitely not understand what you are asking for

this would be very Helpful i just had a job come back after due date and say it is tax exempt. So it would be very nice to uncheck a box and have it recalculate everything

that is the takeoff name for the point count. Again it is a manual Count we get the quantity from Agtek

On the segment though if I am understanding correctly you still have to start a new takeoff to get the starting elv and ending elv
