following up on this - the escape button does end the takeoff, but unfortunately it clicks "off" of the takeoff itself. So I have to click the takeoff item again to resume my takeoff.

Hi Jes, I meant a keyboard shortcut to finish the takeoff. Escape deletes the takeoff you're currently annotating.
Typical Group Takeoff

Typically only applicable on an individual project. Referring to my example for an apartment, a layout of a unit is not exactly the same on a similar, but different job.
